5 Questions We Ask Every Model Who Joins the AURA Movement
At AURA, we believe every model is more than a look — they're a story, a spark, a voice.
These five questions help us reveal the person behind the portfolio.
01 | BEYOND THE FILTER
What’s one thing about the modeling world you wish more people understood — beyond the curated posts and polished reels?
We’re here for the real — not just the highlight reel.
I wish people knew that beyond the posts and reels, for many of us modeling is a form of expression. It is an art. Models get to tell a story by becoming a living canvas. Modeling inspires moods, cultures, visions through fashion and movement. When done right, it can uplift, empower, and inspire confidence.eply
02 | WALK IT OFF
Have you ever tripped on the runway — and owned it like it was part of the show?
Confidence isn’t just a look. It’s a recovery.
Though I have never tripped on a runway, I have had my fair share of moments that could be classified as embarrassing; however, it is not how you “fall” or how many times you fall that matters but it is how you pick yourself up and keep moving. That’s how I owned my embarrassing moments; I get up and boss my way out of it.
03 | PLAN B
If modeling wasn’t in the picture, what career would you be chasing — and don’t say influencer!
Every model has a second passion. We want to know yours.
Fun fact: I studied law. I would pursue a career in the field of law. Though my heart and passion is the media industry, modeling, acting etc.
04 | FASHION FLASHBACK
What’s the wildest outfit you’ve ever worn — the one that still lives rent-free in your memory?
Because even the most questionable looks can become iconic.
I do not experiment much when it come to my clothing. However, there are outfits I wore for brand collaborations that were wild. I was given a bright red wig as well as a transparent dress to promote for a couple of weeks.
05 | EXPRESSION OR PERFORMANCE?
Do you see modeling as self-expression, performance — or something entirely different?
At AURA, we’re reshaping what it means to be a model. How do you define it?
I think modeling can be seen as both self-expression and performance. The performative aspect of it is when you step into a character or mood that may not be your own or who you really are as an individual. You become what the concept or brand needs. It is self-expression because you get to channel your artistic side, your emotions and personal style without saying a word; its all done through your body, face, gaze and energy. Nonetheless, you can bring yourself into the role. So even if you are performing, it still carries your essence.
